Dear Friends:
The Homebound Mitzvah program began reaching out to seniors in 1997 in the hope of diminishing the loneliness and isolation frequently felt during family holidays. It remains one of the first programs of its kind to bring the Jewish holidays to those who might not otherwise be able to attend services or celebrate these family traditions.
This year, nearly 5,000 frail and lonely seniors will experience the joy of the High Holidays and Passover, and we seek to expand the Homebound Mitzvah program to a broader geographic area.
We need your help to build this heartwarming program. What a wonderful way to make a difference to our cherished senior community!
Sincerely,
Keith A. Myers
President and CEO
P.S. Please help to make a difference to homebound seniors over the holidays.
