Karl Dhana, MD, CMD

› Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Dhana first joined MorseLife during his fellowship training at Harvard. Upon completion of his post-doctoral studies, he rejoined MorseLife as the medical director of the Hospice In-Patient Unit. Dr. Dhana became MorseLife’s full-time medical director in August 2004. As medical director, Dr. Dhana is responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the medical services provided throughout the campus, including the geriatric center, the Kramer Senior Services Agency and The Tradition of the Palm Beaches. Dr. Dhana also supervises the Center’s three geriatric nurse practitioners, hospitalist and the network of sub specialists who treat residents on the Katz campus. Dr. Dhana is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the American Medical Directors Association, Palm Beach County Medical Society and the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Dhana is a voluntary professor of medicine at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine and was appointed to the Governor’s Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee in May 2005. Dr. Dhana is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
